Before I was born, my mother had an astrologer do my natal chart reading (which is unusual because she wasn’t really into astrology) But just this fact alone stuck with me.

To me it said: this is somehow important even if you don’t know why.

What I did know was my exact time of birth (3/13/75 at 11:13 am) and that I was a Pisces and of course my favorite number is 13.

Having my sun sign in dreamy mystical Pisces, I was drawn to the esoteric, the occult, the psychic spiritual realms. My ego identified and attached to this Piscean sun sign. I was (and am) extremely sensitive and porous. My subtle energetic body always felt everything and deeply. I suffered from depression and was questioning the meaning of life from the very beginning. So, when I say I’ve been a student of the esoteric for most of my life, this is what I mean.

I was also fascinated by the intersection of dreamwork, psychology, religion, poetry and art. I majored in Psychology, minored in Religion and Women’s Studies. All through my 20’s and up through and out of my Saturn Return I went on to a career as an editor and writer in Publishing (Mars in Aquarius in my 9th house).

Timing and timelines

2008

Pluto in Capricorn

The last 16 years with Pluto in Capricorn (the builder, ambitious creator, the structured initiator) working through my 8th house (Pluto's house - The space of inheritances/finances, sex, spiritual students, psychology, alchemy, etc.)

Back in 2008, was planning my wedding. I went back to school (Gemini rising) and studied Ayurveda, Holistic Nutrition, and Chinese Medicine

2009-2012

Thelifeofkiley

I began my Yoga Teacher Training program, got married, started www.thelifeofkiley blog and and hoped to become a holistic healer. It didn’t take, so I started working with my father in our family Alcohol/Spirit business. I struggled with infertility, did a lot of acupuncture, hypnotherapy, meditation and western medicine (IVF).

2013-2019

Capricorn perseverance

My pregnancy at 38, with my first son was a T-square with Pluto and Ceres. I'll say that much. For the next 6+ years we would work on building our family. We continued with miscarriages—optimism, love, heartbreak and deep Capricorn perseverance.

2020

Uranus opposition complete

January of 2020, three months after my last son Cosmo was born (my Uranus opposition complete), I experienced a total emptying out of self. I had birthed my 3 miracle IVF babies, had my prizes, and now it was… Who am I? Through my work with my psycho-spiritual therapist and mentor, Dr. Nicki Monti, we reconnected me with all those lost pockets of identity.

June of 2020, Dr. Nicki connected me with Dr. Laurence Hillman and I had my first astrological reading. Nicole the Astrologer was beginning to emerge. I began Divine Feminine/Maiden to Mother archetypal work in groups of many sizes and shapes (11th house). Nicole, the Mother, was emerging from the Maiden. I also began painting a mural on my garage. The artist and activist archetype was re-emerging.

Then in December of 2020, during the global pandemic, my family of five moved from our hometown of Los Angeles to the forests of Springfield Oregon.

2023

Esoteric Astrology studies

January of 2023, I began studying Esoteric Astrology with Heidi Rose Robbins and her team of astrologers at Luminosity.

2024…

Nicole the astrologer

May of 2024, Lighted House, a non-profit Psychological and Esoteric Astrology Academy launched.

In June, I became part of the first cohort in their certification program. For the next many years I will be continuing with Lighted House through my on-going certification as a Psychological and Therapeutic Astrologer and providing soul purpose chart readings here.
